Printmaking has become a passion in later years. I have enjoyed many years working as a trained nurse and a teacher of maths and computer studies. I finally returned to practice and retired from nursing in 2007. I have had, and continue to enjoy a happy and busy family life, with the added joy of grandchildren growing up with their many interests, activities and creative pursuits.

My introduction to linocuts began some years ago when I enjoyed a short summer school course at Broadlands Art Centre in Norfolk. It was a privilege to be taught by the renowned artist and printmaker Richard Bawden, and so inspiring that I returned for many years. Having retired from nursing I can now spend more time in my garage studio, trying to capture favourite places, gardens and fond memories in my linocuts.
